Sidewalk Closing - Between Vine Street and Pedestrian Trail on Mitchell Street

Neighbor Wendy Wallitt has alerted us to this week's closing of the sidewalk next to the construction site of the Belle Sherman Cottages.

The closure, while temporary, will last throughout most of this week (December 5) while construction crews excavate the sidewalk area to install storm water and sanitary sewer lines. According to the developer, Toby Millman, they will do what they can to accommodate pedestrians, but since the sidewalk is private and there is no alternative sidewalk on the opposite side of the street, people should consider alternative routes.

Once this work is complete, the sidewalk should be open during the remainder of construction.
